The Oudtshoorn Municipality Bursary programme is an initiative that is held with the cooperation of the Provincial Treasury. Through this programme, the establishment is willing to provide a funding of R40,000 for each grantee on a yearly basis as a means to provide financial assistance to support their respective educational studies.

The bursary is made available for passionate tertiary institution students, and also Grade 12 learners who are planning to pursue their further studies within the 2020 period. In addition, bursary applicants must currently be residing in the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, which also includes the rural, less-visited parts as well.

Students who are pursuing or planning to take up an undergraduate/postgraduate full time degree or diploma focusing on the subjects of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Internal Audit, Supply Chain Management, Internal Audit, Infrastructure or Risk Management are more than welcome to apply.

Announcements will be made within 30 working days after the closing date. If you have not been notified within that time period, unfortunately, your application for the internship has not been considered successful by the committee.
