eTV, together with eAcademy and MICT SETA, is offering Film and Television Production Learnerships to young, talented individuals in South Africa who are currently not employed by any company. The eTV Learnerships is a combination of both theoretical assessments as well as practical working sessions that allows learners to experience what it’s like working in the eTV environment. These newly acquired skills will not only transform you into a more skillful potential employee, but it will turn you into a more attractive asset in the eyes of your future employers. Upon successful completion of the eTV Learnerships, participants will be entitled to an NQF Level 5 National Certificate specializing in the field of Film and Television Production.

eTV – Film & Television Production Learnership Requirements
The eTV Learnership is only available to a hand select number of applicants who meet the eligibility criteria that has been issued by the committee. The criteria is designed to ensure that all incoming candidates are assessed on a fair basis. In order to stand a chance with the applications, it is advisable that you meet all of the requirements below. Failure to do so may not automatically get you kicked off from the application procedure, but you may risk your chances of success.

The eTV Learnership Requirements are as follows:

  • Has a Matric qualification
  • Displays understanding in Computer Literacy
  • Has an NQF Level 4 skill in Communications and Language Competence
  • Pursue the key subjects of Mathematics and Science
  • Displays a certain level of passion in the field of Television Production
  • Owns a legitimate South African Identity Document complete with its barcode
  • Not employed by any other company at the moment
  • Residing in the area of Gauteng and any other areas surrounding it
  • Be available throughout the one year period of the learnership.

Applications for the eTV Film and Television Production Learnership are conducted online. First off, all interested candidates will need to check the availability status of the programme through the Official eTV Skillsmap Portal.
