Boshard Construction is offering learnership programmes for South African individuals who are passionate about the world of Construction and its relevant fields. Conducted in Cape Town, the Boshard Construction Learnerships is a joint collaboration between the Construction Education and Training Authority and Boshard Construction themselves. Just like most other learnerships, this programme will enrich you with the necessary working skills before you advance onto a future career path. By learning through a series of theoretical assessments and practical learning sessions, the exposure that you will receive under a real-time working environment is unlike any other.
Right now, the Boshard Construction Learnerships is provided for these Construction-related departments below:
- Electrical Construction
- Paving
- Plastering
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Carpentry
Upon acceptance into the learnership, participants will be assigned to a Cape Town-based project under the name Boshard Construction Skill Development Project (specifically located at the Cape Town Station’s Infill Deck and Parade Concourse). Learners are expected to spend at least 9 months in the programme, but can only be a part of the learnership until 12 months. The duration of the learnership ultimately depends on the field that you plan on pursuing. During the course of the Boshard Construction Learnership, participants will be entitled to a monthly stipend of ZAR 1 500.
After successfully finishing the Boshard Construction Learnership, participants will be entitled to a nationally accredited qualification. Besides their newly-acquired practical working skills, the qualification transforms these graduated learners into a more attractive asset in the eyes of the future employers and contractors.
Boshard Construction Learnership Requirements

In order to qualify for the learnership, candidates must meet the requirements that are prescribed onto the programme. - Currently living in the Cape Metropolitan area (or around it)

How to Apply Boshard Construction Learnership 2020
Start off your Boshard Construction Learnership by visiting the Official Boshard Career Site. During this part, you will need to check the availability status of your desired learnership. If the programme is open at the moment, you will need to go down to the reception of the Head Office to retrieve your application form.
With your application form at hand, fill it in with your correct personal information. In addition, candidates must prepare supporting documents such as their most Curriculum Vitae, valid copies of their Identity Documents, and any available certificates. Everything that is provided by the candidate must be accurate. Should they be discovered falsifying any section of their applications, they will automatically be disqualified by the selection committee.
