About the North West Department of Public Works and Roads Internship Programme
The North West Department of Public Works and Roads is offering a 24-month internship for all graduates or diplomats that are currently not employed and shows great passion in the Public Service department. The purpose of this internship is to offer local youths the opportunity to experience a real-time working environment while learning on-site as well.
Besides the practical knowledge and work experience that will be gained throughout the programme, future interns will also be entitled to a monthly stipend of R6,437. The internships that are provided by the programme cater to graduates or diplomats that have done their studies in the following specializations below:
- Bsc in Property Studies/Urban Planning
- Bachelor of Laws in Property Conveyance
- National Diploma or BTech in Real Estate/Town and Regional Planning/Local Government/Municipal Finance
- National Diploma/BTech in Horticulture Studies/Landscaping, Facilities Management/Hygiene Services, Security – Management/Tactical Armed Response.
