The Kwazulu-Natal Sharks Board is an organization that aims to better protect the existence of sharks in the area. Appointed as a global leader, the board bears the huge responsibility of placing regulations to minimize the negative impacts that affects the sharks’ environments. What makes the board special is that Kwazulu-Natal is the only known area with beaches that are fully prepared for such mission. Of course, all this would not have been possible without the support from the local communities as well.

About Kwazulu-Natal Sharks Board Internships 2021-2022
The Kwazulu-Natal Sharkds Board is offering several internship positions for passionate South African youths who require legitimate working experience. The Kwazulu-Natal Sharks Board Internships are implemented as an effort to bridge the gap in scarce skills. Unemployed graduates are highly encouraged to register for this opportunity as the exposure will better prepare them for the future working world to come.

The Kwazulu-Natal Sharks Board Internship is available for these following sectors and educational qualifications:

  • Corporate Services: IT (Degree/ National Diploma in IT)
  • Corporate Services: Cook (ND in Hospitality)
  • Corporate Services: Mechanic (N1 Mechanical Engineering)
  • Corporate Services: Handyman (N1 in Plumbing or Electrical Engineering)
  • Research (ND/Degree in Marine Biology)
  • Finance: Supply Chain (ND/Degree in Supply Chain)
  • Business Development: Tourism & Marketing (ND/Degree in Tourism & Marketing)

Upon acceptance into the programme, interns will be entitled to an allowance of R7 000. This is provided to financially support these participants throughout their fulfilling journey.

Kwazulu-Natal Sharks Board Internship Requirements
The Kwazulu-Natal Sharks Board Internship comes with their own specific requirements that come along with each sector. However, besides the specific educational qualification they must have, all candidates are required to pursue a three-year Bachelor’s Degree. A National Diploma may suffice just as well – provided that these two qualifications are issued by an accredited tertiary institution. Failure to comply may cause disadvantageous consequences towards your registration.
