This is mainly done through a list of initiatives that are designed by the local government themselves. One of these initiatives is the KwaZulu-Natal Government Bursary Progarmme. This programme is intended to provide well-deserving students with the necessary financial assistance that are needed in order to pursue their further studies in a public university\/tertiary institution. In line with the province&#8217;s vision and mission, the government is constantly striving for growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the KwaZulu-Natal Government Bursary Programme<\/strong><br \/>\nThe KwaZulu-Natal Government is currently offering several bursary programmes for South African students who are residing within the KwaZulu-Natal Province. There are an abundant amount of Departments and Study Fields that students may choose from in order to be able to sign up for the bursary programme. Failure to meet all of these criteria may result in automatic disqualification from the application process. For more information, you can visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kznonline.gov.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">official website<\/a> from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>The KwaZulu-Natal Government Bursary Requirements are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidates must have earned their Matric\/Grade 12 certificate<\/li>\n<li>Is between 18-35 years old<\/li>\n<li>Is originating from the KwaZulu-Natal Province<\/li>\n<li>Has a letter of admission into any public university\/tertiary institution<\/li>\n<li>Is currently pursuing any one of the aforementioned study fields<\/li>\n<li>Previously disadvantaged students are more than welcome to apply for this bursary programme<\/li>\n<li>Students who plan on pursuing their education within the KwaZulu-Natal Province will be given a higher preference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br \/>\nTo apply for the KwaZulu-Natal Government Bursary programme, all candidates will be required to follow these application procedures clearly.
