Hessequa Local Municipality Profile<\/strong>
\nThe Hessequa Local Municipality is an area that encompasses the Western Cape Province in South Africa. Home to more than 52,642 citizens, Hessequa’s name is a homage to the original inhibitors of the area, who are commonly referred to as the people of the trees. The municipality is tucked right below Langeberg Mountains, and is considered to be in the top seven biggest municipalities in the area. You may find a number of cities and towns in Hessequa, namely Heidelberg, Slangrivier, Albertinia, Jongensfontein, Witsand, Riversdale, Gouritz, and Still Bay.<\/p>\n

Hessequa is rich in nature, with a vast diversity in their vegetation and plant species. In the municipality alone, there have been 8 700 species discovered by research. Besides flora and faun, Hessequa is also well-known for their variety of economic activities. In order for the area to sustain, Hessequan involve themselves in the likes of Finance and Business services, Agriculture, Community Services, Trade, Construction, Trade, as well as Transport and Communication. About Hessequa Local Municipality Bursaries 2021-2022<\/strong>
\nThe Hessequa Local Municipality is seeking out for students who require financial assistance to continue their tertiary education studies in South Africa. The Hessequa Local Municipality Bursary is a support scheme that is offered every academic year. On a typical basis, the programme will only take place for one (1) year only. Just like its name, the programme is only accepting students who are living in the Hessequa Municipal area.<\/p>\n

This bursary scheme hopes to greatly motivate young individuals in their pursuit of academia. On top of that, the scheme is searching for students who possess the potential to bring positive transformation towards their communities. As the bursary is intended to help underprivileged demographic groups who do not have enough accessibility towards education, preference will be given towards disadvantaged individuals and people with disabilities.<\/p>\n
