Formerly known as the Eden District Municipality, it changed to its current name on 2018. The municipality has garnered attention for its supporting development, and the amount of opportunities given on a fair basis. This is to ensure that all of their local citizens have the same high quality of life that they can pursue.<\/p>\n<p>To further support their community, the Garden Route District Municipality has laid out several missions to accomplish. These include addressing the issues of inequalities, coordinating infrastructure planning, promoting an inclusive society, and facilitating more development initiatives. It is expected that by fulfilling these missions, the municipality is able to flourish and provide more benefits for their residents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Garden Route District Municipality Internships 2021-2022<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Garden Route District Municipality is offering multiple internship programmes to local youths are are residents of the surrounding local municipality. The internship, which will run over the course of one (1) year, is offered to offer the necessary working exposure for youths to understand local government work settings. At the moment, the internship programme is offered for unemployed graduates who have already accomplished any one of these listed study fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office Administration<\/li>\n<li>Business Administration<\/li>\n<li>Public Administration<\/li>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Road Construction<\/li>\n<li>Fire Fighting<\/li>\n<li>Disaster Management<\/li>\n<li>HR related qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please be kindly informed that selection interns will be eligible for a monthly stipend of R6 000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Garden Route District Municipality Internship Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\nCandidates who are interested in signing up for the Garden Route District Municipality Internship must fulfill the eligibility criteria that comes with it. The selection committee will only be choosing candidates that fully reflect the principles that are upheld by the internship. Each and every one of these items will determine your success rate with the registration. Therefore, be sure to pay attention to everything in this list below.<\/p>\n<p>The Garden Route District Municipality Internship Requirements are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa<\/li>\n<li>Has an official Identity Document<\/li>\n<li>Resides in the municipal area<\/li>\n<li>Already has a legitimate bank account<\/li>\n<li>Currently not employed by a company<\/li>\n<li>Owns a Matric certification with these subjects below:\n<ul>\n<li>Administration<\/li>\n<li>Business Administration<\/li>\n<li>Road Construction<\/li>\n<li>Basic Fire Fighting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>People who are disabled are highly encouraged to register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply Garden Route District Municipality Internship 2021-2022<\/strong><br \/>\nBefore you can start on your Garden Route Municipality Internship applications, candidates must access the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gardenroute.gov.za\/jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Official Garden Route District Municipality Jobs Portal<\/a> first. From here on, you can take a look at the availability status of your desired internship. If it&#8217;s accepting applications at the moment, you may proceed with the extensive registration procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants who have fulfilled all of the aforementioned requirements will need to download the <a href=\"https:\/\/vacancyupdate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Garden-Route-District-Municipality-Internship-Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Official Application Form<\/a>. Candidates submitting application dossiers through fax or e-mail will not be acknowledged and be considered not joining the internship.<\/p>\n<p>Announcements will be made directly to candidates who have been accepted into the internship. Should you not hear back from the committee within a total period of 30 days past the application closing date, we regret to inform you that you have not been selected.
