Besides gas cleaning, Lesedi Mining has experiences in managing water systems and tending to various materials. About Lesedi Mining Learnerships 2021-2022
Lesedi Mining Solutions and Resources is offering learnership programmes for talented South African individuals who are interested in the local mining industry. The Lesedi Mining Learnerships is a one-of-a-kind programme that is targeted specifically for TVET College students. Upon acceptance into the learnership, participants will be subject to a unique combination of theoretical assessments and practical working learning sessions that are relevant to the company’s line of work. Besides that, selected Engineering Learners are given the responsibility of handling certain artisan tasks with their respective teams. This will be conducted in a shifting period under the Engineering department.
The Lesedi Mining Learnerships is catered to these following study courses:
- Fitter and Turner
- Diesel Mechanic
- Boilermaker
- Electrician
- Welding
- Instrument Mechanician
- Millwright
- Rigger
- Diesel Fitter
Selected participants of the Lesedi Mining Learnerships will be entitled to a generous allowance given on a monthly basis to support them during the programme. In addition, training tool boxes are provided for each learner to facilitate them even better. However, please be kindly informed that all learners must strictly adhere to the company’s code of conduct during the entire duration of the Lesedi Mining Learnerships.
Lesedi Mining Learnership Requirements

- Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
- Holds an accredited Matric certificate concentrating on English and Mathematics (having Physical Science is optional, but highly advantageous)
- Owns an NCV Level 4 qualification in their respective Artisan Trade
- Proven to be medically healthy for the programme
- Willing to work under harsh, underground conditions
- Currently residing within the Ekurhuleni Municipality (Brakpan, Kwa-Thema, Benoni, Daveyton) and any areas around it.
