Based in South Africa, Gold One takes pride in their low-risk operations by adhering to rigorous safety protocols and regulations. Gold One’s most popular sites, their flagship Modder East gold mine, is one of South Africa’s well-known operations. Gold One Internship Requirements
The Gold One Internship is available for candidates who can meet the programme’s eligibility criteria. Each of these items will determine whether you are well-deserving enough of the opportunity of not. It is encouraged that you fulfill all these requirements below. Failure to do so might put your applications in a risky position under the eyes of the selection committee.
The Gold One Internship Requirements are as listed below:
- Officially recognized as a citizen of South Africa
- Be a resident of Benoni, Nigel, Springs, or Brakpan.
- Provides legitimate proof of residency
- Be at least 18 years old or older
- Possess a 3-year qualification in either one of the studies above (Diploma/Degree)
- Displays impressive interpersonal communication abilities
- Has the flexibility to adapt irregular working shifts/rotational shifts
- Willing to perform underground work under in red-zone environments
- Clear from any criminal track backgrounds
- Physically and medically healthy for the working environment.
How to Apply Gold One Internship 2021-2022
Applications for the Gold One Internship are conducted online. To get started, all candidates will need to access the Official Online Platform to check the availability status of these internships. Please be informed that each programme is only accepting applications during a certain time period. Therefore, it is important that you regularly check the online platform.
Once you found that the internship is welcoming applications at the moment, you can immediately send in your applications through e-mail. Your application e-mail should have the Reference Number clearly stated on the Subject Line. This helps the selection committee easily identify your applications in their inbox. Alternatively, you can also send in your applications manually. You will need to post your applications to the designated boxes located right outside the HR Offices and Security Offices.
Candidates will be subjected to the fair assessments processes that are conducted by the Gold One Modder East Operation. Your academic performances will be put under strict evaluation. Additionally, an interview process will also be held to see how far your potential can go.
Important Notes
- Applications must not be directly submitted to a personal of the HR Officers – if you happen to submit to them, your applications will automatically be denied
- Internal candidates can retrieve their application forms from the company’s Time and Attendance Office, or the Recruitment Offices
- All applications must have the Reference Number – failure to provide one will cause your registration to be denied by the selection committee
- Announcements will only be made to selection candidates. Should you not hear back from the committee within 30 days past the deadline, we regret to inform you that you have not been chosen for the internship.
